The need

The IT division, composed of 600 people, is in charge of managing all the information systems of the various government services. With more than 22,000 users, 600 geographical sites, 24,000 fixed workstations, 200 laptops, 1800 servers and 76 million messages exchanged last year, the DGSI is one of the largest IT services in the country. Our need was twofold. First of all, we wanted to be able to send large files, exceeding the capacity of our email. Then, we wanted to send confidential messages, without the possibility of outside intrusion.
