GoAnywhere MFT meets specific documentary needs and requirements

General Electric Digital is a technology subsidiary (2015) of General Electric specialized in the energy sector. GE Digital provides technology services and solutions, such as power management systems, to its global customers and all industries.

Looking for a solution for automation, security and transfer management, General Electric Digital chose BlueFinch-ESBD’s GoAnywhere MFT to meet its customer demand.

A documentary security requirement

The General Electric and BlueFinch-ESBD collaboration was born after a search for solutions led by Mr. ENGELSTEIN, Cybersecurity Architect. The study was determined by the unique and specific need of one of their clients.

To this end, the solution sought had to ensure the security and automation of all document transfers with the end customer. It also had to be compatible with the different applications used, such as Sharepoint, as well as with intermediaries and end customers.

After selecting several solutions on the market, all that remained was to compare them.

The demonstration took place in the company of BlueFinch-ESBD’s sales and technical team. During this session, Mr. ENGELSTEIN was able to see the different functionalities of the solution. Easy and immediate handling

The requirement specified by the end customer was not familiar to General Electric Digital. The GoAnywhere MFT solution was a real discovery and proved to perfectly meet the needs demanded by the customer.

Several criteria were particularly decisive during the choice, such as:

Simplicity of integration with the applications and different systems used.
Secure automation of transfers.
The management and audit of the various exchanges.
Ease of use for users.

After installation, configuration and training over two days by the BlueFinch-ESBD technical team, the solution was immediately taken in hand by Mr. ENGELSTEIN and deployed in a VM.

Pilot and decision-maker of the project, Mr. ENGELSTEIN is now also the Security Officer dedicated to the solution. For him, GoAnywhere “is a real documentary vault that allows the automation and secure management of exchanges up to our end customer.”
